Comedian Nikki Glaser, who hosted the Golden Globes ceremony for the second consecutive year, shared on The Howard Stern Show a list of jokes that were removed from her set at the last minute.
Among the cut jokes was one about actress Sydney Sweeney and her low box office movie earnings, which was dropped when Glaser learned Sweeney wouldn’t attend the ceremony.
Glaser also had a joke about Tilly Nord, an AI-created star involved in controversy, and a series of jokes about Sean Penn, including playful remarks about his age and appearance.
She planned jokes about Leonardo DiCaprio’s relationship with a younger partner and a quip about Julia Roberts’ movie nomination, which did not make it to the broadcast.
Glaser intended to comment on Jonathan Bailey being the first openly gay “Sexiest Man Alive” and to highlight the different treatment of men and women in Hollywood roles as they age.
Producers praised Glaser for her performance, calling her a “perfect host” and commending her talent, hard work, and dedication.
