Mitsotakis may travel to Davos tomorrow due to weather conditions – No European leader signs on to Trump’s Peace Council

The only exception will be Hungary under Viktor Orbán – The prime minister’s trip to Davos was postponed today due to severe weather – An extraordinary EU summit on Greenland to be held tomorrow afternoon

Newsroom January 21 05:11

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis may travel to Davos tomorrow, provided both his schedule and the weather allow it. It is noted that an extraordinary summit of European leaders on Greenland will take place tomorrow afternoon.

The government is closely monitoring developments in EU–U.S. relations, and according to government officials, the prevailing view is that European countries — including Greece — will not sign on to participate in the Peace Council being set up by Donald Trump. The exception is Hungary under Viktor Orbán, which has already said “yes” to the U.S. president.

It is also noted that if weather conditions ultimately do not allow Mr. Mitsotakis to travel to Davos, he will instead go directly to the EU summit.
