Metron Analysis: from 12.9% to 16%, the lead of ND in one month, 50% for Karstianos’ popularity

The rates of potential support for Tsipras' party are stagnant, two points above that of Karystianos' party, but only 2% choose her for the prime ministry - Seven-party Parliament, MP25, Niki, New Left, Movement for Democracy are left out - Just 18% positive opinions for Trump

Newsroom January 22 08:53

Significant recovery for ND and a simultaneous mini-collapse for PASOK compared to December was measured by Metron Analysis in the poll presented on Mega’s main newscast. Notably, the percentage of those who say the country is moving in the right direction rose by two points, as did the percentage of those who give the government a positive rating.

The ruling party gains 1.5 points in the vote estimate while PASOK loses 1.6 points, and Nikos Androulakis is once again fourth in the suitability for prime minister with 6%, behind Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who gains one point and goes to 27%, and Zoe Konstantopoulo,u who remains at 8%, as does Kyriakos Velopoulos.

The company counted spontaneous responses for the prime minister “among political leaders,” and references to Alexis Tsipras came in at 6%, while for Maria Karystianou it was just 2%, with her popularity nevertheless measured at 50%, well above all political leaders. At the same time, those who say they are very likely to vote for a party led by Ms Karystianou are up two points – from 14% to 16% – compared to December.

Metron Analysis also measured the “duo” of Karystianou and Konstantopoulou, with the president of the Eleftherias Eleftherias party leading only in the group of voters who say they are “centre-left” and Maria Karystianou overtaking her by a wide margin among both left-wingers, centrists and centre-right voters. Their gap, however, is reduced to just 4 points among those who declare themselves “right-wing”. Interestingly, the percentage of those declaring a vote for “other” parties has more than doubled in a month ( from 4.6% to 9.5%), which suggests an expectation of the creation of new formations.

Interestingly, except Niki and Kasselakis’ party, which have a slight increase but remain at 2.5% and 1.7% respectively in the vote estimate and lose their ticket to the parliament, all opposition parties show a decline: Apart from PASOK, which loses 1.6 points, Plevisi (from 11.5% in December to 11.7%) , Lysis (from 11.6% to 10.7%), KKE (from 8.4% to 8%) and Voice of Logic (from 4.9% to 3.3%) also have losses.

About Trump
There is a sharp decline in people’s positive assessment of the US president: in one month, positive opinions have fallen from 29% to 18%, down from as high as 34% in the autumn, when he was leading the charge for a ceasefire in Gaza. However, the “the further to the right, the bigger” applies to Trump’s ratings: from 5% among left-wing voters, it rises to 41% among those who say they are “right-wing.” From 41% to 41% among “right-wing voters.”
