He stabbed his father to death – The 46-year-old son is reportedly facing psychological problems

Newsroom January 25 10:14

A shocking case of family homicide has come to light in Glyfada, where a man killed his 80-year-old father. Police authorities found the body inside the trunk of a car parked outside their residence. The deceased was located in the vehicle’s luggage compartment, bearing fatal stab wounds.

According to information, the perpetrator, born in 1980, was living with his father on the first floor of a three-storey house. When officers of the Hellenic Police arrived at the scene, they found the dead man inside the trunk of the car, which was parked outside the home.

The 46-year-old is reportedly facing psychological problems, while it causes shock that the same man had also killed his mother on March 29, 2014.

On March 29, 2014 he had slaughtered his mother in Glyfada

The son of the unfortunate 80-year-old man had taken his mother’s life in the same manner on March 29, 2014. At the time, the then 34-year-old man inflicted multiple stab wounds on his 59-year-old mother, who was found dead in the home where she lived with her son.

According to reports, the perpetrator went to the Glyfada police station that night and told officers that he wanted to surrender because he had killed his mother in the bathroom of their home.

Police, seeing the condition of the 34-year-old man, checked his statements, went to the address where the house was located, and were confronted with the body of the 59-year-old woman lying in a pool of blood, stabbed inside the bathroom of the house.

At the time, police arrested the 34-year-old and requested the assistance of psychiatric authorities. What raises questions is how the man was free to move about and what followed during all these years up to today, when he killed his father in the same way.
