The three injured victims of the accident that claimed the lives of seven PAOK supporters in Timișoara are being transferred to the University Hospital of Timișoara, Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis said in a statement.
In a post on X, Mr. Georgiadis said he had contacted his Romanian counterpart, as well as the Deputy Minister for Crisis Management.
“We are ready to provide any assistance that may be needed, or to transfer them to Greece if this is deemed necessary by the doctors. We have excellent cooperation with the Romanian authorities, whom we thank,” he wrote, while also expressing his condolences to the families of the victims and to the wider PAOK family.

“From the very first moment I was informed of the tragic accident involving PAOK supporters in Romania, I contacted the Romanian authorities, specifically my counterpart, Romanian Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete, as well as Deputy Minister for Crisis Management Raed Arafat.
The three injured individuals are conscious and are currently being transferred to the University Hospital of Timișoara. Further information regarding their condition will be available shortly.
We stand ready to provide any form of assistance required or to arrange their transfer to Greece, should this be considered necessary by the medical teams. We maintain excellent cooperation with the Romanian authorities, whom we sincerely thank.
I express my heartfelt condolences and profound sorrow to the families of the victims and to the entire PAOK family for this tragic accident.”
